Further Reading: Collective Resilience
Most conversations about resilience stop at the individual level. Can this person handle pressure. Can this team stay motivated. Can this leader hold steady when things get hard. Those are real questions, but they miss something more fundamental. Resilience is not only a trait people bring with them. It is also a property of the systems people are working inside, and those systems either support recovery or work against it without anyone naming the cause.
This list pulls together research, reporting, and a couple of conversations worth your time if you want to understand resilience at the organizational level rather than just the individual one. Some of it is academic, some of it is practitioner focused, and none of it requires you to read in order. Pick whatever matches how you like to take in new ideas, whether that is a five minute article or a podcast episode on your next commute.
